Archie

How it compares

Teaches, does, and remembers how, in any program.

Chatbots explain. Agents take over. Digital adoption tools guide, if someone built the guide. Automation tools repeat, if someone built the workflow. Archie does the lot in one flow.

Why it wins

What sets it apart.

Both in one flow

Other tools explain, or take over. Archie points, walks you through, and does it when you ask.

Any software, no setup

It reads each program's accessibility layer, the one screen readers use. No scripts, no integration, no IT project.

Across apps

Ask in your report and get the answer from the model behind it. Tasks can span the apps you allow.

Your mouse stays yours

It works through the program's own controls, shows each step first, and stops the moment you press Esc.

Private by design

It never reads password managers, private windows or apps you exclude, hides the names you choose, and pauses when you leave.

Approved tasks replay with no AI

Once a manager approves a task, it repeats the same clicks every time, with no AI call and no AI cost, then checks its own output.

Saved, not scripted

What Archie does becomes a task in plain words. Rerun it with new details, teach it to a new hire, or chain it into a workflow.

Hands-free

Say “Hey Archie” and ask. Follow-ups need no name, and the listening happens on your computer.

A record of every run

Every answer and every step is logged, ready to export: an audit trail that builds itself as you work.

Automation, in Archie Studio

Chain saved tasks into workflows. Archie runs them without stopping, once or for every row of a spreadsheet.

A library your team shares

Tasks live in your own OneDrive or SharePoint folder, in folders and labels, with a history of every change, and undo.

Asks only what changes

A saved task asks just for what's new each time, like a month or a company code, and remembers last time's.

The comparison

Archie next to eight other kinds of help.

Comparison as of October 2026. From each product's public documentation, checked 6 October 2026, Guidy and HeyClicky again on 11 October, and the last five rows on 12 October. means partly, or only on some plans. Chatbots see your screen only when you paste a picture or share it. Of the screen tutors, Guidy only guides, while HeyClicky added an agent mode that does tasks, on Mac only so far. OpenClaw and Hermes are aimed at developers, and both had critical security findings this year. Microsoft's Copilot Vision highlights where to click but doesn't act, and the August 2026 test version of the Copilot app dropped it for now. Computer-use agents can repeat a task on a schedule (ChatGPT's agent, Claude Cowork's scheduled tasks), and Archie's approved tasks can now run on a schedule too, with no AI (see What it does). Automation tools run saved workflows with full logs, but someone has to build each one, app by app.
